Playson, a fast-rising provider within the iGaming industry, has announced that the role of deputy CEO will go to Vsevolod Lapin. This development will see Lapin in a role that oversees key areas of the business.
Lapin Has Been Working at Playson for Nearly Seven Years
Lapin is not new to the stricture at Playson. He joined the company in 2017 as a product manager. After showing his quality, he was promoted to COO in 2022. Before coming to Playson, he worked for a full decade in product management and marketing.
As Playson’s CEO, Lapin was in charge of helping the company’s market expansion, improving its game portfolio and strengthening the brand identity. Now, his role as deputy CEO will incorporate all of his duties as COO and will oversee the profit and loss, internal processes, business focus, culture, products and strategies.
While speaking about the promotion, Lapin noted he’s delighted to “embrace the new challenges.” He added that he’s been working at Playson for many years and that allowed him to get familiar with the provider’s culture and ultimately, sparked the will to take more responsibilities.
Lapin ended by saying that Playson continues to increase its presence across regulated markets and that he’s happy to lead the team in achieving its goals.
Alex Ivshin, Playson’s CEO, also shared his thoughts. Ivshin said that he’s happy to see Lapin continuing its progress at Playson. He praised his skills and noted that Lapin has contributed greatly during his seven-year stay and it helped Playson experience major growth.
Ivshin ended by saying that he’s eager to see Lapin step into the new role and use his talent to help Playson reach its “full potential across regulated markets worldwide.”
Playson Recently Attended ICE London Where It Introduced a New Promo Feature
ICE London, which took place at the start of February, Playson had its stand and provided attendees with a sneak peek at a new feature. The feature is called Reel of Fortune, but the company did not share too many details about it.
In a statement published on Playson’s website, the provider noted that the functionality of the feature is designed to have “immersive mechanics and a new user experience.” Additionally, it read that these mechanics’ goal is to meet modern-day expectations.
Apart from the new tool, Playson also announced the return of Wheel of Fortune. This mode allows players to win various prizes simply by spinning a wheel. The provider’s full portfolio was also on display and Playson had a chance to shed light on two new releases – Blazing Wins and Power Crown: Hold and Win.
At the start of 2024, Playson also had a major achievement as it secured a partnership with PokerStars.
